Just wanted to let my fellow Speedball's know that alot of you MISSED a
great weekend to ride! Speedy celebrated the start of 2006 with over a dozen of his atv buddies &
EVERYONE had a BLAST!!!! YAHOOOOOOO!
We traveled over 150 miles across ice & snow covered terrain that was EXTREMELY knarly at times ! Tammy
& her little 250EX rode like a pro up & over boulder infested obstacles that even had the big bore 4x4's banging bottoms
& spinning wildly in the air . Sure she needed assistance from time to time , but was fearless & never once backed
down! By late Sunday afternoon she had a slight case of " Monkey Butt " ! LOL!
Sometimes the trails
were so SLICK & rutted that you'd be going along just fine, THEN without warning your quad would turn sideways & slide
off into the thick underbrush to the right or left! OOOOOOOPS! Of course realizing that things were scarey SLICK , speed
was held to a minimum , so no injuries or busted quads. Just ALOT of " OH MY's " & " Holy Cow 's ! " & other
choice words filled the air! We also left numerous trees unintentionly trimmed & pruned on only one side!
LMAO!
During Saturday's ride it snowed & sleeted for an hour
or so & visability was really difficult at times & combined with fresh powder , we COULDN'T see WHERE the icey
patches WERE! YEHAAAAAAA's filled the air , as each hidden slick spot sent quad after quad careening wildly on
the faster wide open trails! WHAT A HOOT!
