After refueling at V-Force John's we head off towards Shenandoah & some
hillclimbing FUN! After crossing a few paved roads , we approach a severly washed out trail that is fairly steep.
Earlier in the day , we'd bypass this obstacle but I think that everyone has shown enough skills during the course
of the day to tackle it , so Speedy drops the hammer & heads UP! As I near the top , it's washed out pretty good
& the quads rear ends begins to slide ! OOPS! With enough momentum & leaning this AARP body forward, the Susuki
Twin Peak's claws & scratches it's way safely to the top. " PHEWEEEEEEEEE! " ( two wheel drive ) .
My first reaction is " Will the others make it OK????? "
After I park the
Twin Peak's out of everyone else's way , I see the rest of the Speedball's scratch & claw & wheelie their way safely
to the top ! There were some anxious moments for a few & more then one atver had a PUCKERED BUTT! LOL!
Once everyone catches their breath we blast across the last few miles of trails & before too long the Speedballs
are at the AC/DC coal banks & having FUN! YEHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Speedy , Brian , Steve & Chris buzz up down the
bigger front side coal banks & then retreat to the backside to watch the others have some FUN on more modest hillclimbs.
We spend at least an hour at the hill climbs below as the youngsters never seem to tire of this endless maze of jumps , bumps
& hillclimbs.
