The weather forecast for Sunday April 23rd is questionable at best , so I wonder WHO will show up for today's ride ??????? Sometimes the weatherman & Mother Nature 's " Gloom & Doom " forecast keep the less hardy at home snuggled up & sipping a hot cup of coffee , while us truely hard core atver's thumb our noses at " Mother Nature " & set out for a grand day of exploration.

                       From the outset , water is EVERYWHERE & DEEP!    Brian , Joe , Scott , Mike , Jason & Speedy set out with spirits high & hoping the weatherman is once AGAIN wrong! LOL!   A fine mist makes a mess of our goggles , but we head off towards Kasta to explore some very knarly boulder infested trails  & muck filled swamps that should let our trusty 4x4's prove thier worth. HE! HE!

                        The ruts are deep & the boulders very slick as we descend into the promised land of boulders & muck. The 4x4's are tested to the Max as we wallow in the DEEP muck & climb up an over some very technical & steep boulder infested trails . We are in the exploration mode & check out each & every trail we spot & sometimes they lead us to more new trails & SOMETIMES we run into trails that look promising , BUT end up turning into a dirt bike trail that gets narrower & NARROWER ! OOOOOOOPS! This trail ended with NO WHERE to turn around! WHAT NOW????????

SOMETIMES the trails get REAL NARROW ! LOL!

Once forward progress is no longer possible & a U-turn NOT an option, , we dismount our trusty 4x4's & realize it's VERY STEEP on BOTH sides! WHERE & HOW do we get our quads turned around & back on a NORMAL atv trail?????????

NO WHERE to turn around! WHAT NOW????

THIS WILL BE TRICKY!

It's STEEP everywhere , but we finally find a viable place to get our atv's turned around , BUT it will take EVERYONE helping EVERYONE to accomplish this SAFELY!

Speedy waits in the creek bed & helps Mike & the others lower each quad into the creek. It's VERY TRICKY & takes a long time to get all the quads safely into the creek. NO room for a MISTAKE!

OOPS THIS IS STEEP! EVERYONES HELPS!

With all quads safely in the creek bed we take a much deserved break before attempting to get the quads BACK UP this STEEP bank ! LOL! As you can see , it's THICK !

FINALLY ALL QUADS ARE DOWN IN THE CREEK!

TIME TO GET ALL THE QUADS UP TO THE TOP!

It's been a struggle , BUT it's also EXCITING to encounter & work as a team in an attempt to escape this atv trap deep in the Pa. mountains! YAHOOOOOOO! NOW it's time to get UP this VERY STEEP bank & get the heck out of here! LOL!

WE LOVE TO RIDE & EXPLORE!!!!!!! YEHAAAAAAAAA!
