Hi Folks,
On Sunday March 26th , Steve Loftis & I had the Pa. mountains all to ourselves & decided to do some exploration to
see WHAT we could find ????????
We had a great time & stopped to check out many unique sights along the way. The locals in these mountains
found an extrordinary way to get get fresh mountain water to their homes in the valley below. The few photos below will let
YOU see WHAT we saw firsthand. Truely AMAZING!

As Steve & I pooked our noses in every trail & crook & cranny , we saw this STRANGE sight & decided
to investigate to see WHAT this was???????
Being curious we dismounted our trusty quads & took a closer look. WOW! A U-shaped wooden sluth made of oak
boards & held together by HUGE u-bolts ! What was even more amazing was that water was still being carried off the mountain
to homes below.
It was a VERY SNUG fit , but Speedy squeezed his XXXL AARP body into the wooden sluth to show it's
actual size & how truely ingenious these country folks can be.
After extracting myself from the wooden sluth , Steve & I followed this wooden man made marvel up the mountain to
see where it originated from ???????? As you can see , a small mountain stream was guided into the wooden sluth &
sent to the homes below. You NEVER know what marvels you will discover as you & your atv buddies explore the Pa. mountains????
